Advance Aviation Training (Fiji) Ltd offers courses in the following:

Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

This licence allows the holder to fly for their own business or pleasure. You cannot gain employment as a pilot with this licence.

This course can be commenced at any time and includes a theory course and a minimum of 40 hours of flying in a single engine aircraft.

Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)

This course commences several times a year and includes an extensive theory course and a minimum of 150 hours of flying in both single and twin engine aircraft. At the successful completion of the course the candidate will hold a Fijian Commercial Pilots Licence with a Command Instrument Rating and a multi-engine aircraft Type Rating.

This licence then allows the holder to apply for employment with the domestic airlines in Fiji.

This is a theory course only. Holders of a CPL must have passes in the ATPL subjects before they will be considered for a position with international airlines like Fiji Airways.
